The Friends of the Naval Museum of Manitoba is a fund-raising organization set up up to provide the Naval Museum with the donations of funds it requires to operate.
The Friends of the Naval Museum are dedicated to preserving naval heritage in Manitoba, and in turn promote the history of Canada’s Navy.

Fairmile Boat #739 does not show up in the records for the 65th Flotilla? The records show #726, 727, 735, 736, 743, 744 (damaged in drydock & did not see active service), 745, 746, 748 & 797. The caption for this image indicates the skipper is Lt Knox and the picture of him appears correct. However, he is normally associated as the CO of boat #743 and that crew photo correctly shows Macolm Knox as the CO in that image. Can anyone explain this discrepancy?
